“Try to do what you love and you will never work a day in your life. There are No VICTIMS we are all VICTORS.” -Crystal Bass
As a young girl, Crystal recalled being effected by skin tone because of her dark complexion. Her mother and sisters were light skinned which was the thing back then. She told me of how her sisters would tease her about her complexion. Crystal’s father was very instrumental in helping her through that time.
One day her father noticed that Crystal didn’t want to go outside until the sun went down. He took her by the hand and gave her a talk about how beautiful she was and she should be proud of her complexion. Crystal says, “He placed my arm beside something very dark and said see your not that dark are you?” Crystal feelings about her complexion soon changed. Crystal’s father passed when she was 16. That was when Crystal decided that she was not going to let him down. She always wanted to make her father proud. She would be the victor and no longer a victim. She had to push herself.
Crystal had to get this story out! The novel Dark Clouds is full of Drama, Drama and more Drama. Crystal Bass decided to write this novel because she felt the need to inspire people, start a dialogue about things that family go through and keep hidden. Crystal’s goal with writing this novel is to break the cycle in families where there is abuse and to get her story out. She hopes her novel will help protect people so they don’t have to go down this road. Crystal advises, “By me putting things on the table that happened to my family and other families, it will help someone with their own family problems.” I asked Crystal if she had any objections from her siblings or family members about writing the novel. Crystal’s response, “I had my two siblings read the book and I asked my closest sister if there was anything that offended her. She didn’t want to put it down, it stemmed some emotions for her but she thought it was a great book and didn’t want me to change a thing.”
Crystal knows that a part of her mission is to give back to the youth. Her passion is mentoring and helping young girls. Precious Gems is her latest project! She is working on having a camp that helps young girls with self esteem, communication, reading and loving self. Crystal says, “The focus is getting the camp up and running, getting different sponsors and Precious Gems a Saturday day camp also branching out for boys as well.”
Dark Clouds is in popular demand and the sequel is soon to follow. However, Crystal will be softening the tone of the second edition for her Precious Gems to enjoy! You can find this drama filled, awesome read at www.crystalclearpublications.com and www.amazon.com

She has exactly what it takes to touch the lives of many that are in need of sexual healing. At some points in this interview I was blushing so hard I thought my cheeks would melt. She is a trip! This technology in and out this car is no joke. The melodramatic new shape speaks and the driving experience follows with a promise to capture attention. This is true that the 2010 XJ had an aluminum body and roughly the same chassis framework, but I have to say that this is more than just a reskin and increase powering.
