NFL Eagles Cornerback Curtis Marsh #31

I was able to catch up with Philadelphia Eagles Cornerback Curtis Marsh (#31) for a quick interview.

ChristieOhh: What’s the Philadelphia Eagles momentum like at training camp?

Curtis: Well recently, we’ve experienced the loss of Coach Reids son, Garret Reid. We are all very saddened. We just have to be there for Coach Reid and give him strength and support. The team and I are looking good and focusing on our goals to win! We dedicate our hard work in each game to Garret.

ChristieOhh: What are some personal goals for this season?

Curtis: Basically, just to step up and be a big contributor for the defense. To have a breakout season is a top goal for me.

ChristieOhh: What are some of your hobbies?

Curtis: Well on my spare time, I like playing basketball; I’m a big Lakers fan by the way. I like to play video games and I like to go out 2 nights a week. Overall, I like to have fun.

ChristieOhh: Since you’re a shopper what type of shoes do you usually purchase?

Curtis: I like low top shoes; Vans, Creative Rec… Those brands really have the type of style that I like.

ChristieOhh: Where are you from?

Curtis: I am from Los Angeles.

ChristieOhh: What college did you attend?

Curtis: I attended and played for Utah State. I received a degree in Business and Economics.

ChristieOhh: How is the transition from west coast to east coast for you?

Curtis: Totally different but cool at the same time. I enjoy being out here but it is a big difference than what I am use too. When I am able to, I like to fly back home to Cali and see my family. It is a nice little balance.

ChristieOhh: What made you chose to play football?

Curtis: I started playing football at a young age. My dad played in the NFL and I wanted to do the same thing. I fell in love with football and my life revolved around it. I had the determination and drive to get here and now that I’m here, I am motivated by my family to go all the way and I want to get a ring and be in the Hall of Fame! Being a Cornerback for the Philadelphia Eagles is a huge blessing. I thank all the Eagle Fans out there too! I really appreciate the support.
