ChristieOhh: I’m really feeling your latest single “Maria Sharapova”, how did you come up with the concept for the song?

Jeury: Pretty much going through things and dealing with a woman. I thought it was someone I loved but didn’t know how to go about the relationship. It’s about the phases of love; a love song. I was just playing with the word love and came up with the song. It was uncalculated calculation.

ChristieOhh: 2012 seems like its going to be an amazing year, what are you trying to accomplish this year?

Jeury: Personally, a major U.S. album to hit stores and online. My dream album is entitled “And the beauty of it is,” to have it promoted overseas and appeal to all genres. I would like to see Imagination Muzic as a prominent record label. To help other artists all over the world, show my dreams and be global!

ChristieOhh: Who do you dream of working with?

Jeury: Kid Cudi, I love Cudi; the way he portrays his music is sick, we would come up with something classic. Kanye, one of the greatest artist of my generation. Frank Ocean, Dr. Dre is definitely one of my biggest influences. I would like to work with Mr. Hudson from the UK too.

ChristieOhh: Other than your music, what do you do in your past time?

Jeury: I write a lot. I am trying to write a book, so any free time I have I’m writing and revising. It’s a Sci-Fi novel. Ever since I was a kid I wanted to write a book. I always go back and make sure my book is meeting my standards. I play basketball, I’m online a lot; I blog and love going to the movies. Writing soothes me, it’s what I do most.

ChristieOhh: What do you want your fans, industry and people to know about Jeury San?

Jeury: Understand that I might just wake up and do a completely different song from a month ago. I might be feeling different I may do hip hop or R&B; I may do something with a Tech feel. I would like for everyone to accept the fact that you don’t have to listen to an artist do one genre of music. You don’t have to have limits. I can capture all genres.

ChristieOhh: Any upcomings or events?

Jeury: Yes! I’m filming a video for “Innocent Bystanders”. I’m planning an event for the song “Maria Sharapova.” It’s the next official video I have coming out. We are going to be searching for a leading lady for that video so stay tuned. My EP “Barely Human” is in the works.
